NAME


java.conf - system-wide Java configuration file

DESCRIPTION


The java.conf file defines the system-wide Java configuration for Virtual Machines, that conforms the JPackage Project conventions.

It is a plain shell configuration format, which each line should be comment (#), blankline, or variable definition.

VARIABLES


JAVA_LIBDIR
 Location of jar files on the system
JNI_LIBDIR
 Location of arch-specific jar files on the system
JVM_ROOT=
 Root of all JVM installations
JAVA_HOME
 You can define a system-wide JVM root here if you’re not using the default one
JAVACMD_OPTS
 Options to pass to the java interpreter
